Field Trips
Field Trips for members
Upcoming and Past

AHS organizes field trips for members to learn about area nonprofits, farms, restaurants, stores, mills, bakeries, breweries, gardens, and more. We often carpool and enjoy lunch along the way or on site.
This past year, AHS visited Bastrop Gardens for a talk on growing mushrooms and composting from recycled blocks, a tour, and a delicious lunch on the patio.
We experienced a half-day ranch tour at Selah Bamberger Ranch preserve.
A large group of us toured the Flower Hill Urban Homestead on W. 6th Street to learn about the Smoot family home and gardens as part of Austin's history.
Field trips are for AHS members only.
Field trips and dates are subject to change.
